Chapel and Ceremony Policies
- For any and all services provided, our contract is with the bride and groom, regardless of who makes the payment(s) for the wedding or the service.
- In the event of acts of God, technical or human error, Sugarland Weddings assumes responsibility only up to the financial amount paid by the bride and groom for the particular service.
- Sugarland Weddings is the copyright holder for all photographs, digital files, and negatives.
- On your wedding day there is to be no photography other than by our staff photographer. Please understand that this policy will be strictly enforced to provide a well-orchestrated and professionally-performed ceremony.
- In most instances the bride and groom are to arrive not more than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to dress and meet separately with the Minister and photographer.
- The bride may have one attendant arrive with her to assist with dressing. All other members of the bridal party and guests, including children, must come dressed to the chapel. We provide no accommodations for the bride, groom, or guests to change after the wedding.
- For changes in flowers, cakes, receptions, or limousines we must require that changes be completed 10 days in advance of your wedding date as these items are dependent upon scheduling and availability
Cancellation Policy
- If your wedding date must be changed for any reason we will be glad to re-schedule your wedding for a future date (up to one year from the original date). However, should you need to cancel, only monies paid over and above your initial deposit amount will be refunded. (In other words, all deposits are non-refundable.) Should there be overnight rentals, limousine, or reception included in your package we also must charge your account with any fees or deposits that we may incur in order to settle your account. Any wedding canceled or postponed within 14 days of the scheduled wedding date will not receive a refund or credit
Payment Policy
- We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, money orders, and cashier's checks. We will schedule your wedding date and time upon receipt of a deposit. You then may make payments up to 14 days prior to your wedding date, at which time payment in full must be received. Should you desire to schedule a wedding with less than 14 days to prepare, we must receive payment in full at the time of reservation.
